Petey is a 7 month old gentle soul that just wants to be with his humans all day. He is a talker and will talk loudly when he knows you are near but can’t get to you. He is shy at first but once he gets to know you bestie status soon follows. He LOVES to flop on his back for belly rubs. Maybe he was a dog in a former life? His top canines can be seen poking out of his mouth which makes his face so much more squish-able and lovable.
He recently had surgery on one of his eyelids and is doing phenomenal. He had an injury that was healed when he came into our care which caused entropion. His eye lashes ended up on the underside of his eyelid. So his eyelashes would rub up against his eye constantly causing irritation. Luckily his surgery went well and was successful. He has no permanent damage from this. Looking at him you would never even know he ever had an issue at all.
